SUNFLOWERS’ FAITH
(A poem of natural wisdom)

Warm sunshine
blushes
my blooming
face
Wind
blending with rays of
sunlight
tugs and sways
my green blouse
Joyously chirping
birds
jump with delight
on my shoulders, arms
An eagle
in the vast sky
circles around over my
head
The planet of natural
life
is colourful, enchanting
Under the glow of sunset,
simply turn my blooming face
facing
that circle of
glistening Sun
standing, looking
standing, looking
and following her
to eternally glide
in the blue sky

Fresh and chill tints of night
cool air permeates my
soul
Wild winds with sharp screams
disturb dreams’
intoxicated sweetness
Wanting to shake
my faith?
Come!
Destroying first
my deep-rooted beliefs
How many times
wild rainfalls surge
How many times
the sun is concealed by dim
clouds
How many times
the sky is permeated by
mystified fogs
Heartless ice pellets
devastate
my body
Dark nights, howling
winds
I do not fear
Thunder and lightening
I do not dread
Cold and heat violently
rotate
I do not change
Because
my vein of blood
forever flows
faith in future's brightness

Thereafter
the thunderstorm
Rays of sunlight
are glorious, magnificent
On this piece of
warm land
I shake off
crystal clear raindrops
Still hold up
the pure and naive face
Stretch out
jade green strong arms
To embrace the sun’s
warmth
Linger in
golden fairy tales
Dream
the day after

The harvest season
arrives
People are
joyous, laugh, faces
light up
Rushing off their feet
accepting
my heaps of
grains and fruits
Birds
in the place
where I fall
seek
leftovers
An eagle
in the sky above
where I fall
circles around
The body
clad with wind and rain
collapses
Yet, on this piece of
land of
righteous forces
The spirit of
selflessness
harmoniously emerges into
the nature
The spirit of great love
deeply roots in
hearty fields
The praising chants
for the spirit of sacrifice
resound through
clouds and skies
Listen!
The faith of seas
encompasses hundreds of
rills
Listen!
The faith of rivers and
lakes
courageously
strives
Listen!
The faith of towering
mountains
is firm
upright
Listen!
The faith of sunflowers
its direction
is unaltered
The strengths of faith
make life’s
willpower strong
The strengths of faith
make life’s
feelings optimistic
The strengths of faith
make life’s
realm wide, broad
The strengths of faith
make life’s
birth endless
prosperous
forever
