PEOPLE
(A poem of moral wisdom)
Sages are ordinary people
The wise one, the foolish one: moral wisdom
decides upon
When recognizing the original face of morals
Wisdom is revealed, the realization of the Tao is
intimate
To understand reasons, to know self, to take a
proper stance
To develop character, to have rightful conduct,
to enlighten truth
To approach good, to pursue beauty, to be free
from selfish follies
Great love, sacrifice: hearts of sages and
exemplary persons
