SELF-RESPECT AND
SELF-CONFIDENCE ARE ROOTED IN TAO, TE
(A poem of moral wisdom)
Without roots, duckweed can hardly stand on its own
Without roots, duckweed can hardly stand on its own
Away from branches, how could yellow leaves revive?
When Te
in life is hindered, self-respect is vacant
How can self-confidence arise when Tao’s original
root is obscured?
