PUZZLE OF BIG EYES

PUZZLE OF BIG EYES
(A poem of natural wisdom)
Big eyes
holds two
red apples
Mom says
Why don't you give grandma one
Big eyes
Look at grandma
 then look at
two
red apples
Right away
the two
red apples
left
tiny
tooth marks
Slap
Slap
Slap
Ache
left
on her bum
Big eyes
shed
tears
of
wrongs
little mouth
mumbling
This apple
soft
grandma eat
Mom
freezes
tearing
Grandma
holds Big Eyes
tightly
in her
arms
Time
is
quiet
